MP Kimani Ngunjiri and his former Limuru counterpart Kuria Kanyingi are among those listed to have illegally acquired acres of land in Kiambu forest, according to documents tabled in the Senate Tuesday by CS Enviroinment, Hon Keriako Tobiko as he listed the beneficiaries of illegal allocation of Kiambu forestland.

Tobiko exposed a list of individuals and even companies that were illegally and irregularly allocated about 263 acres of forests.
Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri is the Director of Agropack Limited that was allocated about 16.7 acres.
Other beneficiaries include three directors;Bedan Mbugua Gikebe, Antony Muchiri Gikebe and Philomena Wangari Gikebe who were allocated about 61.7 acres) through Wibeso Investments Limited where they own one share each.
Mike Kamau Maina who’s a director at Pelican Engineering and company limited owning upto 100,000 shares amd Nguru Muregi Wachira were allocated about 73 acres through the company.
Few months ago, an environmental activist ,Joanna Stuchburry, was shot dead at her home outside kiambu county in what petitioners termed as outrage murder.
“A gazetted forest can only be reallocated if it is degazetted and the degazettement must also be approved by Parliament,” Tobiko said.

Also allocated the land is Kiambaa (Nyakinyua) Women Group. The group was allocated about 97 acres and has developed the land.

“The beneficiaries of the illegal land allocation went to court and filed a suit. The applicants sought to quash the decision contained in the caveat emptor notice declaring a portion of the protected Kiambu Reserve and warning the general public against any purchase thereof,” he stated.
The commission had resolved to investigate the allocation of the forest but did not complete the inquiry as its jurisdiction ended.
My QUESTION IS, WHO KILLED JOANNA STUCHBURRY?
Well its sad to see the leaders we elect to fight for us are fighting against us. And I will not be surprised to see us blindly vote them into power again
